GM Flax Testing

Triffid Flax (event FP967) was developed at the University of Saskatchewan Crop Development Centre. Approved in North America for food use in 1998, Triffid Flax seed was recalled in 2001 in efforts to remove it from commercial production. Since Triffid Flax was never approved outside of North America it falls under a zero tolerance for presence in food or feed products according to GMO regulations of several countries.

Quantum-Biosciences-SCC-logo-large QBI is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratory for the qualitative detection of Triffid Flax.
